About the Author

John Charles Coleman is a trial lawyer who has handled civil and criminal cases throughout Florida since being admitted to The Florida Bar on June 1, 1976. Mr. Coleman graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1973. In January 1976 he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

Over the past 37 years Mr. Coleman has successfully defended citizens accused of murder, manslaughter, drug offenses in the state and federal court, a wide variety of economic crimes as well as domestic violence/battery, DUI, and other traffic related offenses. Mr. Coleman has represented plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases and commercial disputes involving contracts, construction, business, trade secrets, and real estate.
